Dr. Vee was one of Michigan’s leading oncologists, having spent more than 50 years as a physician in the Detroit community. As a leader, scientist, teacher and physician, Dr. Vee is considered the architect of Detroit’s cancer program, while his pioneering cancer research led to new global standards of care and treatment. He served as president of the Michigan Cancer Foundation and was the recipient of countless honors and awards for the strides he has made in the fight against cancer. Dr. Vee was a member of the Dr. Vee Legacy of Hope Society.
