Patient Care Tips from the Pharmacist

Patient Care Tips from the Pharmacist

  • Please take your medications as prescribed on the label.
  • If your doctor asks you to take your medications differently than written on the label, please ask them to send a new prescription to the pharmacy with the updated directions.
  • If you experience any side effects, please call us at 1-833-KSP-4-YOU (1-833-577-4968) and ask to speak to a pharmacist. An on-call pharmacist is available during the off-hours and holidays.
  • Our team will give you a courtesy refill reminder about five days before you run out of medication. Please call us if you feel like you are running low on your medication. Medications can take time to order and ship out.
  • If you need a refill on a weekend, please leave a voicemail on the automated system and we will reach out to the care team as soon as possible.
  • Store your medications in a safe place in your home away from children and pets.
  • If any of your contact or insurance information changes, please call the pharmacy to update it.
  • If you are going on a vacation, please call the pharmacy as soon as possible so we can explore options to get your medication out to you.
  • If your prescription requires a signature upon delivery, please ensure someone is home to sign for it on the delivery day.
  • If you require patient assistance, please call the pharmacy and we can connect you with a KSP social worker.
  • If you feel that your delivery was delayed or missed, please call the pharmacy.
